Riverside Players’ illustrious return to our famous outdoor shows is finally here! New for 2024, we are embarking on our biggest project in over 10 years and are bringing you The Sound of Music for August.

Seating is raked and covered. Please note that Row A seats are at ground level and may not be fully protected.
This is an outdoor production in a venue with some areas of rough ground. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear.
Doors open 90 minutes before performance time. You are welcome to picnic in the castle moat area before the show, but please note that only alcohol purchased from our bar may be consumed on site. In accordance with our licensing arrangements, no alcohol purchased on site may be taken away. Smoking is not allowed except in the designated areas and no BBQs are permitted.
No dogs other than service dogs will be admitted.
Pedestrian access to Eynsford Castle is via the same road on which Eynsford Village Hall is situated – opposite the Castle Hotel and next to the bus stop. Look for the brown English Heritage sign to the castle and the sign for the village hall.
Free parking is available at Anthony Roper Primary School, High Street, Eynsford DA4 0AA, a 5-minute walk from Eynsford Castle.
There is strictly no drop off or parking at Eynsford Castle or Eynsford Village Hall unless booked by calling our box office for accessibility requirements.
A limited number of accessible parking spaces are available at Eynsford Village Hall. These must be booked in advance by contacting the Box Office at [email protected] or 07704 279948.

The unique nature of the venue may be challenging for some customers, so please ensure it is suitable before purchasing tickets. Notice concerning credit card telephone sales
Please note that as a result of TicketSource adopting the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards, we are now unable to take credit card payments over the phone. If you wish to purchase your tickets using a credit card, please book online using the Buy Tickets link. We are always happy to accept cheque payments for advance bookings and cheque or cash payments for tickets purchased on the door.
Riverside Players Cancellation Policy
Tickets are non-refundable except in the event of a show cancellation. A message regarding our intention to cancel a performance will be posted on the website and on the Box Office booking telephone answer message as soon as the decision is made. We would be happy to exchange your tickets for a future performance if at all possible.
If the show is halted for more than 20 minutes it will be cancelled. If the performance is cancelled during the first act, then exchanges/refunds will be available. If the performance has reached the interval and subsequently has to be halted, it will be deemed to be completed and no exchanges or refunds will be available.
If exchange is not possible and your tickets have been bought online by credit card you will receive an automatic refund from TicketSource within a few days. If tickets have been purchased by cash or cheque contact Riverside Players The Box Office Manager who will offer a full refund. Refunds are available up to one calendar month after the cancelled performance.
Tickets may be exchangeable at any time at the discretion of the Box Office Manager.
