Our Spring production for 2022 will be:

84 Charing Cross Road

84 Charing Cross Road is the true story of Helen and Frank that spans 30 years across the Atlantic ocean. As time travels on, Struggling writer Helene connects with Frank and his Book shop associates through letters and parcels exchanged via Airmail. Their friendship begins as professional and courteous and very soon becomes a love story. Not a love for each other, but a love for literature.

Based on a true story, it was made into a film starring Judi Dench and Anthony Hopkins!

We will be looking for actors to play the following roles:

 

The Characters:

Helene – older woman (30-60ish age range in play)

Frank – older man (30-60ish age range in play)

Cecily – Younger woman (20’s)

Bill – (20’s/30’s)

Megan – (20-30’s)

There are a few more smaller parts that include voice over characters and characters which actors can double role for.

They are: Maxine, Mrs Todd, Pilor, Alvin and Mr Marks

 

Auditions will be held in the Eynsford Village Hall on the following dates:

6th Feburary, 17:30

8th February, 20:00
