Rope

Eynsford will be host to the most grisly of
evenings. Wyndham Brandon and Charles Granillo have ‘done a murder’ simply
for the intellectual thrill and fun of the thing. And, to add even more
spice, have invited the victims father and friends for dinner… served on a
chest which just so happens to hold the remains (or should I say lifeless
entirety) of their dear Ronald. Will they get away with it, or have they
underestimated the sleuthing skills of their guests?

Most famous for the 1948 Hitchcock adaptation, Rope plays with the
traditions of suspense – and this production adds a hefty dose of
silliness to the proceedings taking inspiration from the recent Hitchcock
parody The 39 Steps. Come for an evening of mystery and melodrama,
suspense and sound-effects (and a hefty dose of gin – this is the 1920s!)

We will see you there!- Matthew Friett, Director

Rope is in performance the evenings of the 14th, 15th, 21st and 22nd of
October, 7:45pm at Eynsford Village Hall
